Introduction to Community Services

    Is community work right for you?

    The community services and health industries are the largest and fastest growing in Australia.  There is high demand across Victoria for community workers in a range of sectors such as youth work, aged care, drug and alcohol, early education and care, disability work, welfare and community support just to name a few. Community service workers advocate for the rights of individuals and communities and derive satisfaction from helping others.

    Course Delivery

    Upon completion of this introductory course, participants will be offered a place in our Certificate II in Community Services course commencing 20th April 2020. This course is a pathway into further study, volunteer work or entry level work within community services.

    Commences: 13th March 2020
    Day: Fridays (2 sessions)
    Times: 10:oo am to 2:00 pm
    Completion:  20th March 2020

    Fees: $30 ($25 concession)
