This qualification may be used as a pathway into Community Services work and may apply to several industry fields such as: Youth work, Aged Care, Children’s Services, Drug and Alcohol, or Disability work. It is also a starting point if you are wishing to pursue higher education in these fields and have not been in the education system for some time.
This is an exciting course, delivered by industry experts in a supportive and encouraging culture.
Due to the current COVID-19 environment, this qualification will be initially delivered online (using ‘Zoom’ classes). It is anticipated that delivery will return to classroom based training once appropriate. Delivery will include a combination of group discussions, practical activities, role plays and demonstrations.

To gain the qualification all units must be completed.
For partial completion, a Statement of Attainment will be issued.
