ABOUT THE COURSE

CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home & Community) is a Nationally Recognised qualification and is the first step in gaining the skills to work effectively as a care worker in a residential aged care facility, or as a home and community care worker.

You can access this course by direct entry but it would also be suitable for you if you have some experience and need to formalise your qualifications.

This qualification is delivered in the classroom and will also incorporate 120 hours of practical placement in an aged care environment.

Aged care is an extremely rewarding field to work in and on completion of the course, you will be able to provide physical and social support to individuals in a variety of aged care settings, including hostels, nursing homes, and home and community settings.
