Xero Accounting Software – Beginners and More

Course outline

XERO offers a cloud-based accounting software platform for small and medium-sized businesses. This courses is designed for learners who have little or no experience using XERO and provides skills to gain the necessary knowledge to perform a range of financial tasks.

Access all your data and Xero tools from anywhere you are,  all while keeping your essentials like invoicing and payroll  close by with Xero’s mobile applications. 

This course is designed for people wanting to learn XERO or those working in a small business.

It is expected that participants have the following upon enrolment:

– An existing ability to use a computer and the internet

– Have an interest in bookkeeping and learning Xero

Day:  TBA - Evenings (4 sessions)
Time:  6pm to 9pm
Fee:  $50 ($40 concession) Eligibility criteria applies

Course outline

This course will cover the following and teach you how to use Xero Accounting package correctly including: 

∙ Introduction to Xero  

∙ Setting up Xero correctly for the first time

∙ Basic bookkeeping processes and what to look for – “why are we doing this” 

∙ Accounts payable  

∙ Accounts receivable  

∙ Inventory

∙ Bank reconciliations
